Geography: Dusk Island is a volcanic island in South Pacific Ocean, south to Pitcairn island. Island it self is surrounded by a coral reef. There is no native species of animals, infect there is very less animals on the such a large island. Island it self is tropical, where couple of species of birds and reptiles dwell in the forested regions. However, engineers of DUSK have "remade" the island, changing most of the original plant life in order to make it suitable for the most amazing ecological project ever made.
History: Even though island is large, it was uninhabited by humans since the rocky regions offered very small comfort for human settlements. Island was used during the World War II as a temporal base to Japanese soldiers. In 1979 the island was bought as a plan to create an ecological paradise for many tropical species. However these planes we're ultimately scraped during the begging of the Gulf Wars. Later in the 2005 it was bought again, and used as a base for technology development. When the first mammoth is cloned, in the 2007, imitate plans began to change the island in order to keep up to 100 extinct species of animals. But until the 2010, when the island was rebuild by engineers, genetics and scientists around the world. Meanwhile the first dinosaurs we're cloned. The project of rebuilding and cloning took almost 8 years to become fully finished, when on March 3. 2019, the last species was transported to the island. At the end, there was only 50 extinct animal species, instead of 100.
Regions and buildings: Island has been very changed from it's original look. There is a large proportion of rain forest on the southwest, while there is a big lake in the slopes of the Vulcano. Around the central lake (also called "Pterosaur pool") is a grassland. On the north and northeast there are man made dry regions and a boreal forest. Main complex is on the top of a dead volcano. All the technology and buildings are made to create animals feel like in their natural habitats. Keepers, workers and personnel are kept safe, away from dangerous animals, however, there are trained personnel who keep food chain at the balance. The "Dark reef" region has been closed from the rest of the island, as it keeps many dangerous species of marine reptiles inside. While the "Deep Lagoon" has been turned into a HE.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
